Government Reform: The Indiana Experience
Despite its reputation for Midwestern conservativism Indiana is
as inefficient when it comes to state and local government as the rest
of the nation. Taxpayers pay dearly for everything, from the sprawl of
state government boards and commissions to a lack of transparency in
lawmaking. As part of my role covering Indiana and Indianapolis
government, I detailed efforts to improve processses and activities.
